The positive result of building a prison is that a public transport connection will soon be established. This will also benefit the industrial terrain and the technical campus. As far as parking facilities are concerned, the principle of multiple use applies, which means the parking garages will be shared with the prison. Here too things result in a win-win for us.

In all respects, this project – just like any other development within Blue Gate Antwerp – would have to meet the vision and aims of Blue Gate Antwerp. That includes aspects such as image, modal split and collection and reuse of rainwater.
